Cities like Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva never fail to impress visitors with their fabulous mosques, madrasas and mausoleums. The most charming stops for the senses are the Aral Sea, the fortresses of remote Karakalpakstan in Tashkent and the ecotourism opportunities of the Nuratau Mountains. What to expect
Your days will be filled with history and culture, with the first day in Tashkent, where you can see the Museum of Applied Art of Tashkent, beautiful and unusual underground stations, Amir Temur Square and Independence Square, and the biggest Bazaar of Uzbekistan, Chorsu. Other cities like Bukhara and Samarkand offer the same mix, but we add to that some curated culinary experiences for an insider peak into the country.
