The other destinations that feature in the top ten are Maldives, Tulum, Ubud, Mykonos, Langkawi and Bora Bora.
Here’s a lowdown for you to plan the next holiday to these wonderful destinations. We have some great hotel and activities partners in all these destinations, so DM or write to us to help you plan.
Here are our top three destinations from the list:
Phuket, Thailand
With guaranteed tropical weather and clean picturesque beaches, it’s no wonder why Phuket in Thailand is the world’s most Instagrammable relaxing location. A massive 9.7 million people used the hashtag ‘Phuket’ worldwide since travel opened up. Who doesn’t want to hear the swishing of the waves, the smell of sun cream, and the sound of meditation music after a restricted time at home? The white, palm- and casuarina-fringed beaches ring Phuket's southern and western coasts and are the main charm for travellers. Each beach is different from the other. You can find luxury resorts in the northwest's upmarket Surin and Ao Bang Thao and more rustic places in Rawai on far south Phuket. We are not even saying anything about the infamous west-coast sin city of Patong, home of hangovers and go-go bars.
The Maldives
The Maldives in South East Asia is one of the most private and peaceful getaways you could ask for. With 8.3 million hashtags used this is one of the most Instagrammable locations in the world to unwind! From clublike resorts to chic boutique resorts, that offer family fun, there are plenty of options. Choose something that you’ll love because a large part of a Maldivian holiday means staying in your room, stepping out to the spa and the pool and underwater adventures. With plenty of natural attractions and cultural hotspots in the man Male town, Maldives should be first on your list.
Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos is a place that is truly envy-inducing when it’s on Insta – and in real life too. It’s that gorgeous. Offering beautiful beaches and orange sunsets we’re not surprised it has 4.3 million hashtags behind it. Greece should be fighting to be number one on your list for whitewashed walls overhung by bougainvillaea and unbelievably stunning hotels overlooking the ocean. We have just the itinerary for you. It covers not only the ocean-side beauty but musts like Navagio Bay, the pink corals of Elafonissi Beach and all the cultural hot spots.
